Demosophy 2023 Finding our position of strength
If we want to live in a society of less divisiveness, more freedoms, and not less, then it has to be about each of us having a vested stake. We must work across divides and aisles. It’s not all on the shoulders of political, religious, academic, and business sectors; finding solutions comes from and includes people. In the U.S.A., this requires considering roughly 325 million people and about 8 billion globally.
How do we want to live? What do we want to create? Who controls our personal choices?
Humanity’s social collective clearly defines the future. We need a secular compact that we can all agree on, one that inspires us in harmonious and productive ways. Demosophy explores what this might look like. We strive to include diverse broad & deep perspectives while defining workable near and long-term solutions.
The Urgent Need
Accessible knowledge-holders, their proven advancements, and relative best practices can be leveraged and applied in tangible ways. Our ability to work productively together is the answer and the philosophical “hard problem.”
Present levels of discord opportunistically limit, divide and destabilize people’s generational well-being. When driven by short-sighted gratification or to keep ourselves and loved ones alive, it’s proven that people can do remarkable things ─ good and pure evil.
Therefore, the opportunity zone is the application of freedom. We can find common ground through multidisciplinary expert cooperation and communication, working together as alliances. Then, we can integrate solutions with supportive services that locally showcase the ability to drive the cost of living down and the quality of life up.
Positively Affecting Change
Suffering, underserved communities, and systemic problems needing solutions abound, so where do we start? Healthy self-empowerment is the gateway to sustainable freedom. But self-empowerment unbounded is multidimensional and too complex; therefore, our focus is explicitly on its root, Women’s Empowerment.
Why women?
Women connect us all by birth. In the U.S.A., women have considerable freedoms, yet still not enough. Women’s rights dramatically vary worldwide and across the United States.
Women and men create life; together with our creations, we make all kinds of things. Men are essential and integral to everything, including prosperity and peace. Women and children will become authentically self-empower through men’s support, not without it. This is true for all people. Joining men and women in respectful empowerment is essential to prosperity and freedom.
Together we, the people, live, sustain, make and even end life. Demosophy’s primary position is that women’s self-empowerment is tied directly to human rights. As a result, women are the crucial constituency in defining freedoms near and long term. For this reason, we support removing the abortion debate from politics. Reproductive and birth decisions should remain solely in the hands of the self-empowered pregnant woman.
