A little about my perception and perspective
This video and the text below provides a personal perspective of Demosophy’s founder’s perspective, what drove of the Demosophic Framework and the creation of Demosophy. It is broken in to 3 parts. First is begins artistically in an attempt to ground the present day. Then at 4 min 25 seconds, it transitions into discussing the background of what brought forward her personal and professional, even a political point of view. The 3rd and final section begins at 13 minutes and 20 seconds providing a direct dialogue and/or presentation speaking to me and you, directly as a leader. It defines a perspective on the current state of leadership with considerations for which she asks viewers to personally contemplate.
Here’s what the video says:
I mean you don’t have to be much of a sleuth, as we hang out in quarantine, read the news over the past 10 years, or simply contemplate greater existence, to smell that something is odorously off… big time.
I was at a political conference a few months ago with our nation’s best and brightest, really… I was there with the think tank Fellows and historians, political pundits and advisors, and writers from the most referenced sources. It was provoking and informative. But most of all it made me contemplate reality.
In one particular discussion, I shared how we, the key architects, developers, innovators in Business and Technology, had enabled global commerce, information and knowledge sharing. And hit quickly upon how it transformed a system of connectedness from manufacturing, core technology, and telecommunications development, that for me began in the early 2000s.
We discussed how collective tech and financing efforts, largely created global commerce, and the level of connectedness and information availability, found within our present advanced state of existence. The main point, I had made was how the tech innovators and creators, had a vision; and it was different from much of the short sidedness that we presently find ourselves.
As the conversation progressed, a journalist and member of a major think tank, gathered her words…and told me, “I was the problem….. as I was part of the Global Elite”. It stopped me in my tracks.
I’m 53 years old, grew up in Montana. Didn’t go to ivy league anything…I basically see out of one eye, had a patch and blue cat-eye glasses for a few years as a kid. Thought of myself as tough and independent, and rather resourceful, but not the brightest. All I basically knew was that I was here to live fully and freely, and hopefully in the direction of the greatest good.
This video sums things up. Hope you can provide 20 minutes of your time. Thanks in advance.
